Job description
About the role:
We currently have an opportunity for a Lecturer in Creative Digital Media to be responsible for teaching on the UAL Level 1, 2 and 3 Diploma in Creative Media Production courses (16-18) and tutoring these students.
Other general curriculum responsibilities will also include internal verification, curriculum development, planning and the
administration of courses. As the photography, games development, 3D modelling and animation, video production with VFX specialist this would include co-ordinating resources and exhibiting students work.
About you:
You will be a Media specialist/Teacher with extensive experience of working with photography, games development, 3D modelling and animation, video production with VFX. You need to have knowledge of how Media skills are used in the creative industry. You need to know what students need to produce in relation to progression onto either higher level courses, training for apprentices or work. Sound knowledge and experience of teaching on UAL L1, 2 and 3 courses are essential, and experience of working in multi-disciplinary contexts in Media. You will also need to have a wide understanding of the Media Industry to enrich students’ websites and practical work. You will need to monitor students’ progress and give written as well as verbal assessment feedback to deadline. You will need to lead on students’ FMP work and end of year exhibition of work.
