About the role:
We have two fantastic opportunities for individuals who have a passion for helping and supporting in Education, Employment or Training across London.
To provide and coordinate support, advice and guidance to potential NEET participants, who are unemployed and economically inactive, over the Groups ESF/GLA contracts.
Responsible for
the attraction, registration and progression of Young People, to achieve sustained employment, training, continued education, course enrolment and completion or work experience outcomes. An Education and Employment Adviser will provide individualized Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) and use a variety of techniques including effective diagnosis, individual and group coaching and mentoring, maximizingon any specific funding or resources available to achieve these outcomes.
This role will be starting ASAP.
About you:
Do you have experience of engaging and supporting 16-25+ NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training).You will have a proven track record in delivering IAG to NEET participants and helping them to progress into a pathway which ensures they become a EET.It would be advantageous to have an understanding of the Health and Social Care sector.You will have an understanding of the barriers young people face today and have empathy and show you are able to motivate potential participants, pulling together an individual learner journey which breaks down any barriers facing the participant.You should understand and be able to communicate with referral partners (outreach) ensuring good coverage and participant pipeline. As a min you will hold an IAG certificate at L4 and have good computer skills especially with all Microsoft packages.
