Job description
Assistant Principal City and Islington College (CIC) - Finsbury Park.
Capital City College Group is the largest provider of Further Education in London, formed following the mergers of three already successful colleges, each with their own proven track record of academic success.
Under the leadership of the new CEO, Roy O'Shaughnessy, who joined the organisation
in September 2018 we have entered a new phase to be London's leading college. As part of this exciting journey a new Assistant Principal role has been created:
1. Assistant Principal Finsbury Park: Adult Education, Basic Skills English & Maths, Professional & Industry Services and the lead on whole college Student Services.
Candidates are expected to assimilate that the Group is driven by strong values and a vison to transform the lives of students through the provision of exceptional education and training with a focus on the necessary knowledge, skills and behaviours to be successful.
Working closely with the Senior Management Team, you will play a pivotal role in developing the strategic plan for the college, within the Group framework and to be effective in the operationalization of CIC's plans, quality improvement and activities.
You will be Degree qualified with an excellent understanding of Curriculum Intent and of achieving a high standard of innovation and delivery in Teaching, Learning & Assessment. The successful Implementation and Impact of the highest level of Quality of Education provided to all students will be the motivation for this new and crucial role.
A track record of strategic leadership at senior level with the ability to lead and inspire, particularly in relation to cultural change and continuous service improvement are essential.
