Job description
About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work the College's Supported Internship learners based at Great Ormond Street Hospital. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about assisting our interns overcome barriers and help them into employment. You must be able to establish a positive working relationship with individuals who have learning
difficulties and/or disabilities.
You will be required to provide learning support to students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities (including emotional and/or behavioural difficulties) within Supported Internships at Great Ormond St Hospital Moorfields Hospital or any other college location.
To differentiate and facilitate learning according to the student need. You may be working 1:1 or in a group setting.
About you:
Have a flexible and student centred approach that fosters independence and enabling students to participate fully in College life. The ability to support and empower students in the learning of practical and academic subjects as well as in developing their social and life skills.
You will require Math's and English GCSE grade A-C or (9 to 4) or equivalent Level 2 literacy/numeracy qualification along with experience of working with learners with learning difficulties and/ or disabilities in an educational setting.
